Step 1
Send us the image or picture you would like made into a mural or poster. This can be on paper, illustration board, canvas, computer printout, photograph or in any digital format such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw, jpeg, bmp, tiff etc. You can send it via an email attachment, on a disk, or send the actual image via the U.S. mail. If you would like us to design the mural for you, based on your specifications, we are able and willing to do that as well.

Step 2
Tell us the size of the mural or poster. This needs to be proportional to the image from above. For example a 5x7 photo could be done as a 5 foot by 7 foot mural or as a 10 foot by 14 foot mural. Alternately, you could simply tell us how wide or how tall you would like it to be. The cost is based on the final size which can be calculated on our prices page. These prices are for heavy gauge vinyl, for other materials just ask, we'll send you a quote.

Step 3
Send us your tile images to the address on the contact us page. These can be in any digital format, but we prefer jpg, bmp, gif or tiff. You can send them on a CD, DVD, or compact flash card. If there are both horizontal and vertical images the tiles can be square, in which case, some of the edges will be cropped. If all or most of the image are horizontal,  we will use horizontal, tiles. Same thing goes with vertical tiles. The more tile images you have, the better the resulting mural will look. Also the more variety of colors and values in your image collection, the better the result will be.

Step 4
Once we have the images and information from above, within a few days we will use specialized software to create the best possible mural given the source image and the tile collection. The number of tiles we use to make up the image is also determined by how many images in your collection. The more the better! For example a 4 foot by 8 foot mural could have 48 x 96 square inch tiles or 4608 total tiles. If your image collection has only 200 images. each image will be repeated about 23 times. In any case, we will examine both the source and image collection and render the best image we can.  At this point, we will e-mail a low resolution proof of the mural similar to the images you can see on our gallery page.

Step 5
Once you have received the emailed proof, you can pay by check or paypal. We will also honor purchase orders from schools. Once we receive your purchase order or payment and approval, the image will be printed either on photo quality paper in the case of a poster or heavy gauge vinyl or other materials in the case of a mural. The process takes about a week to complete and the finished mural will be shipped via UPS to the address you provide.

Step 6
The mural can either be hung from the ceiling with pole pockets or can be put up like you would apply any common wallpaper.  If you aren't comfortable hanging wallpaper, We recommend that you have a professional paper hanger install your mural. The Guild of Professional Hangers has a national network to serve you with a tradition of excellence. Using a pro will ensure your mural is hung to your complete satisfaction.
