| This mural was done as a sister school project between
Arrowhead and South Division High in Milwaukee. The image was designed
by a student using Photoshop and images collected on the web. The tiles are simply the ID photos from the students at
both schools combined. There are about 4000 individual tiles in the
collection. |

| Here you can see the area around Abe Lincoln's
eye and nose and
the letter W. Notice that the lettering is transparent, there is enough
there to read but it also allows the portrait tiles to come through.
This can be done on any mural. The text can be in any typeface in any
color and can be anywhere from totally opaque, to barely noticeable.
This text is in white with a 20 percent transparency. |
